West Wave Neuro - A Message From Our Founder, Jessica Jenne

After many years working in the neurodiagnostic field on the Central Coast, 2020 was the year I could no longer ignore what was happening around me. Neurological illnesses were increasing, and the services patients needed were disappearing. Outpatient facilities were closing. Wait times were growing. The people who needed answers most were being left without them.
I had spent my career building experience across both administrative operations and direct patient care. I understood the clinical side, and I understood the systems side. Standing at that crossroads in 2020, I knew I was called to do something about this. If I had the skills and the experience, staying on the sidelines was no longer an option.

Building the Right Foundation
In 2020, I partnered with our Medical Director and we got to work. Together we set out to bring something to the Central Coast that simply did not exist
here: dedicated long-term EEG services that could reach patients where they are.
We spent a year getting everything in order. Credentialing, compliance, clinical protocols, referral relationships. We wanted to do it right before we ever saw a single patient. That foundation is what allows us to deliver the quality and consistency our patients deserve.
A Better Way for Central Coast Patients.
Before West Wave Neuro, patients who needed long-term EEG monitoring had very limited options. Getting answers meant lengthy, expensive stays at hospital-based Epilepsy Monitoring Units, often far from home. For many families that was simply not realistic.
Others went without testing altogether. With outpatient facilities closing across the region, adult and pediatric patients were going without the diagnostics they needed.
We saw a better way. West Wave Neuro brings long-term EEG monitoring directly into the home. Same clinical quality, without the hospital stay, the travel, and the cost. For many patients, this is the difference between getting answers and going without.
Who We Serve
West Wave Neuro serves adult and pediatric patients across the Central Coast. We provide in-home long-term EEG studies for patients whose physicians need more than a standard short-term study can capture, including those living with epilepsy, unexplained seizure activity, and other neurological conditions.
Seeing patients in their own environment also tends to produce better data. Patients are relaxed, in their routines, living their daily lives. That matters clinically.
This Is Just the Beginning
We opened our doors in January 2022 and have helped thousands of patients since. Every study we complete means answers for someone who has been waiting for them. Every referral we receive is a provider trusting us with a patient they care about.
We started West Wave Neuro because we saw a need on the Central Coast and we knew we could fill it. That is what continues to drive us.
If you are a patient, a caregiver, or a referring provider looking for in-home long-term EEG services on the Central Coast, we would love to hear from you.
More Than a Business
West Wave Neuro was never built to be just another healthcare company.
It was built around a mission.
A mission to provide answers.
A mission to reduce barriers to care.
A mission to support both pediatric and adult patients through what can often be a confusing and stressful diagnostic process.
Since opening our doors, we have had the privilege of helping thousands of patients throughout California.
Every referral, every family, every patient story reminds us why we started.
The Future of West Wave Neuro
More than five years later, our mission remains unchanged.
We continue to advocate for patients, collaborate with referring providers, and expand access to long-term EEG monitoring for individuals who may otherwise struggle to obtain neurological testing.
As healthcare continues to evolve, our commitment remains the same as it was in 2020:
Provide exceptional care, simplify the patient experience, and make neurological testing accessible to those who need it most.
Thank you to every patient, provider, and family who has trusted us along the way.
We are honored to be part of your journey.
